Fair warning

Should anyone I know decide this is a good idea, prepare to be shunned after being mocked mercilessly:

Click through on the image and you can see the whole book. It's fascinating in a train-wreck sort of way.

Yes, it really is a real product from Microsoft. And yes, I might just have go all Gordon Freeman on it with a crowbar should I lay eyes upon it in your home.

  1. Mr Sqdancer and I love the story! I'm going to have share it with my friends. I wonder where I can buy my own personal copy of the book, I think it will be a nice addition to my collection of reading books. It will be proudly displayed with the Freddy the Pig books.

  2. That's fabulous!

And I love how it's a totally new and different idea that's nothing at all like a Mac mini...

(See, that's a twee cutsey name that turns off real techies. But "home server" is a weird concept which turns off _everybody_!)

    Plus, these are _black_.

    And the lights go blinkety-blink...

(And, in fairness, they have 3 to 4 times the hard drive space.)
