ReplyDeleteBull! Once again, the Republicans try to hijack the word "life" to mean that a heart beat must be kept going at any cost.
We all value life. Some people don't have any concept of QUALITY of life, however.

ReplyDeleteYou are correct about the hijacking of the word "life". I don't think it's truly fair to the Republicans to tar them all with it, though. I do know a couple of Republicans who are true old-fashioned conservatives - i.e. lean toward the side of hands off everything - who are infuriated at Frist & Co's actions.
