New favorite drink
We were down at the Blue Monk for some great live jazz last night. They have a drink there called the "Cilantro Tini" which has found its way into my heart. Ginger-infused vodka, lime, and chopped cilantro. Guaranteed to cure the common cold, spicy yet .... oh it defies description. Just go try one already.

One of the swanky lounges in our neighborhood was offeing a "Peep-tini" around Easter in which floated a marshmallow peep. I didn't try it, so I can't tell you how vile and sweet it was.
ReplyDeletegetting a cocktail at the blue monk isn't on my list of things to do simply because they've got such a terrific beer selection. It may not be the biggest selection, but the variety and quality are top notch. And the food is great.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever had Montage's version of a Bloody Mary? (If memory serves it's called a bloody vampire, but last time I had one I couldn't pass a field sobriety test half-way into the night, which I know because I was given one by my designated driver).
ReplyDeleteIt comes with a garnish of spam. And will clear out everyone in the room's sinuses.
